With a degree in Multimedia Design and 3D animation and a Film Academy diploma I am well educated in the technical field as in the artistic aspect. This broad knowledge is a good foundation for my daily work as a freelance filmmaker. Focused on Steadicam, camera operating, camera assisting and focus-pulling I deliver quality without losing sight of the bigger picture. I am a team player, have strong communication skills, flexibility and perseverance are qualities that characterize me.
Quality and customization, this is what I stand for.
WHAT I DO
I worked on a range of different projects fulfilling a variety of functions such as Steadicam Operator, Camera Operator, Camera assistant/Focus Puller and Director.
WHAT I’M GOOD AT
Capturing dynamic motions on screen and delivering the most complex shots with ease.
Combining the right frame, ambiance, light and moments into the perfect shot to tell your story.
Camera Assistant/Focus Pulling
Relieving the camera operator so he can fully concentrate on his framing and keeping everything in focus.
BEHIND THE FOX
WHAT MAKES THE IMAGE
This is the Exo Vest. It shifts the weight of the Steadicam to my lower body and hereby making it more comfortable for me to operate for a longer period.
The G-50x Arm connects the vest to the Arm and is able to lift 5.4 kg to 23 kg. This arm is one of the secrets to a smooth shot using a Steadicam.
This is my sled, Steadicam’s Archer 2. Able to handle a camera’s up to 14 Kg. Fitted with a tilt head and the Transvideo XSBL Evolution screen for a clear view even in full sun.
The DJI Focus system, perfect for focus pulling without even touching the Steadicam. This way the AC can pull focus without me having to worry about bumping into him.
